Take them all if you're gonna take one. They hatch best around active Pokémon and other eggs. The latter's 'cause of shared heat, or something like that. [The most half-hearted shrug.]

[feistytrader]

I can't carry around dozens of eggs, Gold.

[failscommunication]

Sure you could. You've just gotta be willin' to think. Or am I the one who's got the brains between us?

[feistytrader]

[...You know what, here. Take the egg.] I'd like to see you try.

[failscommunication]

[No. Problem. His Pokémon'll help out, from Aibo's tailhands carefully gathering them to Togebo having a good balancing act going on. Gold himself's got some in his jacket, tucked beneath his arms, things like that.

But most importantly they do in fact have all the eggs off the ground and can walk with them.]

[You jerk what if Gold just wants to hang out huh-- Not that he wants to or anything okay he just woke up covered in eggs that's all.]

Wow, abandoning your old friend just like that? I'm wounded, Silver, wounded. [And a Drama Queen.]

I'll be back when you need my help. [...And to watch Proteam Omega, but he leaves out that part.]

And to hog my TV. Seriously, it's like that's the only time you come around and your eyes are always glued to the screen. [HE'S NOT LONELY

Don't get one, you'd just use it once a week. Total waste of money. I'll give you a ring whenever these eggs start crackin'.

And that's about it from him for a while. Today's an hour long special! He couldn't be paid to turn his head away.

But there's just this little cracking noise interrupting your show, Silver.

Crack crack crack. Crackingly. Hatching? Hatching. There's just one or two that're hatching, the ones closest to him actually.]

[Oh. He's got a Sneasel in his lap now.

...And another one nearby.

...Yeah yeah, we're on a commercial, come here, let him set the egg shells aside and pet you two little guys- oh, sorry. Girls!- and we can all just cuddle and watch cartoons, okay?]

[Okay!! They'd like that. Cartoons sound like fun.

What's a cartoon?

(Some eggs seem to be rolling closer too, as if drawn by the TV. Every time one hatches another takes its place.)]

[It's this thing on TV! That's a TV. The box thing with the screen.

It's not too long before Silver gets absorbed into Proteam Omega; he tends to the babies and gets them all situated somewhere without taking his eyes off the television. The number of them that are actually hatching is lost on him.]

[All the hatched babies are absorbed in it too, latched onto various parts of Silver with eyes stuck on the show.

And, with fifteen mins until the end of the special, Gold's up and prepared to find Silver--

Not covered in babies what the hell why are you covered in Sneasel. They're in your hair and your clothes and on you like... Wow. It's pointless to try and catch Silver's attention when he's watching Proteam Omega - something he's got first hand experience in -, so Gold scoops up a wandering egg or two before trooping into the back to make a quick breakfast and to set up some bowls of food for the Pokémon.

Hold on quick head count.

A lot. Yeah okay. At least two Sneasel'll be attached to him instead of the TV. Wonder how the parents are gonna take this turn of event.

(Some of them are watching with Silver that's what.)]

[Most of the parents are watching it with Silver, but some head to Gold instead to help him set up food!

...And maybe get some extra food for their efforts, right? Right--?]

[Yes they get rewarded thanks you guys and girls are so HELPFUL unlike A CERTAIN PERSON.

Or we cool with a sudden boost in popularity for Sneasel among trainers.]
