[He's been away from New Bark for too long.

But it wasn't all bad, and it wasn't like he got homesick any, though the sight of it's pretty nice. So are the people who call out for him and say hello, ask how he's been (oh you know, saving johto, nothing too big), and as long as Silver's not too wigged by all the familiarity it's good.

Home, though. Home is nicer. The moment he opens the door all kinds of Pokémon spill out to greet him -- from the common Weedle to the rarer Chansey, there's definitely a hogpodge of them here -- and it's... warm. It's very cozy and a well-lived, well-loved life, perfectly normal despite the fact that Gold's really stupid and a little off the goddamn wall.]
