Or rather; when Silver is journeying, Kyurem rattles from within its Pokéball, foretelling something powerful to come... Hilda has long gone to beat the Elite Four to get money out of them, leaving Silver alone, in an area filled to the brim with a powerful and familiar energy...
[Kyurem is still rattling its Pokéball, reacting strongly to that great presence.
There's a few moments' pause, before a light descends from the sky and flashes in a sheet of white. Standing tall and proud, there was Arceus. Kyurem's rattling slowed to a stop, and Arceus let out a great bellow.
Those plates you got there, kiddo - they're rattling some, too, reacting to Arceus. Actually, it's just one single plate... the Mind Plate.]
Silver freezes. He stares up at the Pokémon- the legendary- the deity that is standing in front of him. What is- here? Why here? What's going on?
Without much thinking- it's more of a reflex than actual thinking, at any rate- he pulls out the Mind Plate, not quite sure if he should offer it to Arceus or let it take it on its own.
Okay, Silver. I gotta ask you to let Kyurem wander off, there's stuff planned for him. I mean I can't force you or anything, but it'd be cool if you did it.
Silver grabs Kyurem's Pokéball and looks it over for a moment. He's gotten attached to Kyurem. Things started out a bit awkwardly, but... They shared some moments. He never thought that "rub a legendary dragon's belly like its a Growlithe" would be a thing he could say he did in his lifetime.
But if Arceus says so, he doesn't exactly have room to sit around and think about it. He releases Kyurem as ordered. See you around, legendary buddy.]
[Kyurem rumbles and says its farewells, before shuffling off to the giant chasm once more.
Arceus looks pleased!]
Excellent. Don't worry, things are gonna get a little hectic, but he'll find a good trainer to look after him. Dialga said so. Well, one of the dialgas I've made.
Whatever man. Thanks for doin' what I asked, even though I was kinda heavy-handed about it. I hate bein' that bossy.
...You just asked me. [He'd ask how things are going to get hectic, but he's not sure if it's his place to ask that. Or talk back. Or anything. -Wait, he's- he's created Dialga? Multiple Dialga? But that--]
Yeah, but I did kinda make it obvious that I couldn't really let you mess things up too much. Well, not really 'mess up' because things can always work out, but y'know. I gave you all free will, man, I don't like bein' all pushy and making choices for you.
Well, you're bein' pretty chill about things too. I mean, not doin' the whole worshipping thing, that's cool, man. Also not telling me to do things, that's also pretty cool.
Wha? Oh, hang around certain trainers? Yeah, definitely. I mean, if I'm technically "caught", then no one can bug me with their not cool requests. I just hung out with a kid from Johto, he was cool. Even if he was a doormat.
You know- Is he okay? Do you know? [And what about Crys? Are things okay? Is he still there to do what he needs to? What's going on? There are millions of questions he could ask, but--]
Yeah man he's cool, bro, goin' and doin' his thing. Everything's workin' out smooth over there. Well, smooth for over there. Like I said, the place is pretty hardcore.
[Good. Good. The relief is clearly visible on his face... If only for a moment.
Because more questions are left unanswered. Questions about why he's here, how he's here, whether or not he'll leave, what will happen- but they aren't questions he can simply ask.]
You got questions, little man? I mean, you're all displaced and stuff, I can get why you're all wondering the wonders of the universe and stuff.
But don't worry man, if your universe really needs you, it'll grab you again... but it ain't got time for that. I like this place more, 's more calm. I mean sometimes people gonna be the way they gotta be and they get all up and... man I dunno. I don't like it sometimes but I can't be judgin, I can't tell you guys what to do and how to be. Free will, man. Best thing I ever came up with.
[...This is still so strange to watch. This entire situation is strange. But now... Now Arceus' presence really makes him tremble, to lock up, if only for a moment.
And then it just makes him excited. He's getting an opportunity to fight with and understand Arceus. Which plate is that again? The... Spooky Plate, was it? The Iron Plate? It looks more like the latter...
Regardless, Kingdra does what Kingdra does best- she uses Surf. He has no doubt that he'll need all of his Pokémon. No doubt at all. But he should at least try to gauge the strength of Arceus...]
[This time, he can feel it in full force. That overwhelming power, and Arceus doesn't even need to be in front of him. His knees and arms tremble and his legs threaten to go out from under him.
Arceus' entire presence is on another level. A different plane of existence.
But he has to keep fighting. He doesn't put Kingdra away, but he lets out Feraligatr regardless.]
Earthquake! [He doesn't just think he'll need all of his Pokémon. He knows it.]
[Arceus reappears, slamming fiercely into Kingdra with Shadow Force. The earthquake lands a blow, and the god Pokémon lets out a great bellow. It rears up on its hind legs, before bringing them down sharply, aiming a Spacial Rend attack at Feraligatr.]
seems legit
And then he feels it.
That power. That power. He's felt that power, that presence before, if only briefly. That's- That's--
He pivots around and looks in every direction, as does Weavile. Where's it coming from? Where-]
