Soooo in the future! Hilda managed to woo Silver and keep him for more than a week.

When Hilda's about 26 and Silver's 24, she's finally got him doing more "couple"-like things with her.

I know you've wanted to do stuff with Blue and Pokémon, so today you can go and show her something she doesn't usually see. I'll leave the what and how up to you.

Blue and I are gonna get a ladies' day with my mom tomorrow, anyway. So here's your chance to try and do something more impressive than what my mom and I can cook up!

[She lets go of Blue, grinning at her handiwork. The toddler is finally dressed, for all of her rebellious attempts to roam the world a naked child, with a blue flower clip in her (once messy but currently tamed) bright red hair and wearing a cute sky blue dress.]

You get to deal with the shoes. Have fun, you two.

[Blue gets a kiss on her pretty forehead before mom skeedaddles!]

We will. [He smiles and waves at Hilda as she exits before turning to their daughter- their beautiful, perfect daughter.]

Isn't that right, Blue? [He starts tickling her for a little while as he speaks, but it's not long before he relents and grabs her shoes.] Let's get these on quick so daddy can take you somewhere special.

Really? Really really? Where are we going?

[She's beaming, excited, and happy. She's calmed down a degree, having spent all of her energy and excitement wrestling with mom to get dressed.]

It's a little far away, so we're gonna take the subway. [Baby's first train ride...]

The subway? The trains? Where grampas work?

Yep. I don't think we'll get to see them today, but you're definitely going on a train.

[You are ready when he gets these shoes on- there you go. It's time to take Blue on her first train ride! Sure he knows he pretty much has a lifelong free pass to ride on the subway whenever but he still buys tickets just this once, just to show Blue, just so she can hold her own ticket and get the experience first hand.

...She gets her hand held for a while, but the subway station is crowded so he ends up picking her up to make sure that he doesn't lose her.

Which is fine, because there is no open seat in their train. Better to be held by daddy than to stand.]

[That's okay, Blue is all smiles and looking around! So many people, so many strangers, so many friendly (?) faces!]

[Friendly! They better be friendly. There won't be anything left of them if they're not-

ahem. Friendly. It's not long before the subway starts moving. Silver's got his subway legs so he has no problem balancing, but that doesn't mean that the movement of the train isn't there.]

[Silver gives her a smile and a nod. That's right, they're moving.] Fun, isn't it? We're gonna keep moving for a while.

[If there are any people side eying them or even thinking that she's such a cute little girl, it's completely lost on Silver. As far as he's concerned, unless someone gets hostile, Blue's the only one here.]

[Even if there's a few girls loudly cooing at the two of you and a granny commenting on what a sweet older brother you are?]

[Oooohhhh those girls aren't letting themselves be overheard, but oh boy are they gossipping. As for the older woman? She chuckles, putting her hand on her cheek.

What a sweet child, then! Even if you are so young, it is so good to see such a loving father.]

[An emphatic nod from the daughter, nearly wiggling herself off balance, and a charmed chuckle from the elderly woman.]

[Whoa hey hey don't fall out of his arms here. Still, he can't help but smile and bows his head down to the elderly woman as a thank you.

Then comes the doting.]

And you're the best daughter in the whole world. I'm a really lucky daddy. [He. He would be affectionate, but it's kind of hard to do other things while he's holding her on a crowded moving train.]

[And hey, eventually you even get a young girl bold enough to speak up! She asks Blue if she has a mommy.]
