[Hilda's calmed down a little bit with age, but it's not the largest improvement. She's still all over the place, eager to run around and travel as much as she possibly can. Terrorbolt, amazingly, has not decided to leave her yet and sticks around! Which helps in a lot of the long-distance travel, because he can carry both Hilda and Silver long distances.

Hilda keeps up her training and exploring, never really having to take a job because of all of the treasures she's found and fame she's accumulated. Strapped for cash? Go in for a quick interview as the Hero of Unova! That, or find small troublesome gangs like Plasma and beat the shit out of them and steal their money before they get anywhere off the ground.

She's been having a great time with Silver, too. She tries to bring him wherever she goes, now, and can even sit patiently for a while in Nimbasa while he spends time with the rest of his family. And hey, sometimes she goes off to visit her own mother - which is what the plan was this time around. But...

...She comes back to Nimbasa about four days early. Which is pretty unusual, since Hilda loves spending time with her mom and doesn't usually get antsy about spending a week or two with her. But she's gotta find Silver. Naturally, she checks the ice cream stand and then the Battle Subway, knowing the two spots to look first for her boyfriend.]

[Elesa didn't have a sense of urgency in telling Silver (or Ingo for that matter) the fact that she tested positive for pregnancy again. Her daughter was a healthy, happy seven year old getting ready for her first journey in the next few years, and all-in-all, things were mild and comfortable. They lived in a house in White Forest, as per Elesa's demands, so there was little strain on making preparations.

So, when Silver is scheduled to visit her is when she'll break the news. She has the house tidied up in the meantime, her mild-manned daughter helping with cleaning up the place.]

[He's probably heard from the household, but hey. She likes Hilbert and respects him, so maybe she needs to talk to him too. And of course he's probably at the Subway.]

Hey, Hilbert.

[So he's adjusted to the fact that he's going to be a dad. He's been legally adopted! And...

...Well, there's something important he should do, so he heads to Nuvema town and carefully knocks on the door to Hilda's house.

Knock knock.]

[She's swelling up! At almost five months, she's finally showing, and now she definitely can't get away with anything. She's still being a good sport, as much as she can, not whining and complaining because she doesn't want to sound like a wimpy bitch.

But, of course, it's time to talk important details. She's leaned back on the couch, pouting up at Silver.]

I want to live in Nuvema.

[She wants to battle on the battle subway so bad.

She will need to be reminded not to many, many times on many, many days...]

[Soon. Just a few more weeks now. They're gonna be parents.

As time's moved on, his enthusiasm's grown. Eight months ago he'd never in a million years think he was ready for this, but...]

We're almost there. [Unlike last time they checked out the abandoned home in the middle of the woods, there is a path- it's a dirt path, but it's an adequately sized path that's level and free of trees, branches, and anything to get caught on. A few lights still litter the path.

That can be fixed up later. For now, there's the house itself- if all goes well, it's the place they'll call home. It was worth every last hour of sleep he and his Pokémon lost on making sure everything was just right- and there were plenty of things that took more than a few tries.

He just hopes that Hilda likes it. If not, well... They can sell it and find somewhere else, right? No big deal. There's no way it wouldn't be a nice profit.

...Please like it, Hilda.]

[The last few weeks lead through, and Hilda's just plain huge. She's constantly uncomfortable, but at least after fifteen minutes of shuffling she finds a comfortable position and sticks to it.

Over the past two days, however, she's shown a lot more discomfort. She almost never can sit still, and she only barely sleeps. But at about two in the morning, after about three hours of trying to fall asleep, Hilda finally grabs Silver's shoulder, wincing.]

Okay... okay, I think they're coming. I can't take it any more, it's gotta come out now.

[It's been four years. Silver's forced any sadness he had before down for the sake of his kids. He loves them. He smiles for them. ...He lives for them. And he's learned to be happy with them.

Of course, he hasn't held it together perfectly, but that's fine because he never falls apart in front of his family. That's all that matters. He can snap from a grief stricken mess to a gentle, loving father in a split second, and that's what matters.

But today, none of that does. It's been four years. It's Blue and Barett's fourth birthday! And although he would have had them get their first Pokémon at his age if he could have his way, he's held back for a while. A while has been long enough, so he's taken them to get their first Pokémon before anything or anyone can tell him otherwise.

Where is he taking them? That took a bit of consideration, but... the Abundant Shrine won. It's nearby, the Pokémon there are fairly laid back, and in the area is a shrine for revering Landorus, the Ground/Flying type of the kami trio of legendaries.

Riding on Typhlosion means that it takes no time at all to get there, and before they know it, it's the three of them and Weavile in a new place Blue and Barett haven't seen before.]

Are you two ready?

[It's tough being a parent. It was a struggle to let Blue go- and more of a struggle to smile, ruffle Barett's hair, and tell him everything's gonna be okay and he'll be right at home waiting for them.

And he is. He tried. He tried really hard to train, to distract himself, to do something, but at the end of their day he spends what feels like an eternity staring out the clock before finally, finally, finally he can go to pick them up.

[It's going to be a long day! Not that Hilda's let on to her family. For now, she's tickling her daughter and blowing raspberries into her belly, getting her dressed despite the two-year-old's protests, and getting ready for the day.]

Silver, you're watching Blue for today, right? I've got something to go do for today.

[The Dude is not infallible. The Dude is kind of zoned out.

He accidentally sends Silver to the wrong timeline.

So! When you hunt down Hilda, Silver, you will eventually find her in Nimbasa. But... she doesn't enter the Battle Subway?]

[FREE! Free from school! Blue is racing home, ignoring Barett who's walking home all chill and stuff. He wants to hang out with Relaxceus who was cool and all but he made her sleepy.

BAM she's home, she barely manages to not crash into the front door as she flings it open.]

Dad! Daaaaaaad!

[A day in Undella Town! That's their course of action. There's nothing quite like just enjoying a summer day in nice good weather. They'll hit up the bay in a while, but for now, they can enjoy a stroll in town.

Of course, "a stroll in town" really just means "a harsh trial against dad's wallet" in beach resort town, but surely that boogie board doesn't look too nice, right? Or that shirt or snow globe or cap or-]

[Time for Blue and Barett to begin their journeys! Blue makes sure to call Silver every Saturday. Barett... remembers when he remembers.

But it's Saturday morning!]

[After Blue gets the championship, and Barett becomes famous for directing his Pokémon in Musicals, films, and just about anything else the Pokémon seem to want to do, things have settled down somewhat. Blue and Barett are home, mostly, enjoying the company of their family.

What a picture perfect event! Even if things aren't tooootally perfect, it's mostly alright, right...?]

[So he's come to begrudgingly accept that he's temporarily stuck on the other side of the world in a future version of a completely different world.

What he has also accepted is that he is going to some city on the other side of the world. With Barett. Who is slow.

Who also happens to be his... You know what, he's not gonna think about it too much.]
