Soooo in the future! Hilda managed to woo Silver and keep him for more than a week.

When Hilda's about 26 and Silver's 24, she's finally got him doing more "couple"-like things with her.




It's a good thing they're a somewhat decent age to be parents?

[After a while, Silver might find a hidden grotto! It's been disturbed, and there's little shoe prints, so all signs point to Barett being in there.

And he is! He's quietly sitting down, cuddling with a vulpix. There's a warm ray of sunlight peering through the foliage, and it's pleasant and calm and quiet.]

[Okay. Barett takes it, and holds it up for Vulpix to see. The fox sniffs at it, hesitant at first... but Barett recognizes when the Pokémon is okay with being caught and taps the ball gently against its forehead.

[He'll let his Vulpix out so he can cuddle with her again!]

He should say more, but Barret is still young and doesn't need to worry about anything right now. Besides, with the way he got along with his Vulpix right away...]

A lot of people fight and battle, but that's not all that Pokémon are about. You did really well to make a friend like this all on your own, and you can still grow and learn from each other together.

[Blue puffs her cheeks out, jealous that Barett is getting praise and attention instead of her. Barett just smiles, getting up and shyly hugging his father.]

[Yeah, come here. You get hugs on your own for a second.

But not for long, because he invites Blue over with an open arm. Group hug, guys.]

I'm proud of both of you. You did really well while still being yourselves.

And so they go to grab food! They can feed their Pokémon, too.

It's once they start enjoying their Casteliacones on some bench in a less busy part of Castelia that Silver really starts to get thoughtful. Training his kids already?...]

[They were both enjoying their meals and their dessert! Even though Silver was talking to Blue, Barett also looks at him.]
