Soooo in the future! Hilda managed to woo Silver and keep him for more than a week.

When Hilda's about 26 and Silver's 24, she's finally got him doing more "couple"-like things with her.




It's a good thing they're a somewhat decent age to be parents?

No it's not! I came up just fine in Nuvema. We'd go on family trips all the time. And we - me, Cheren, and Bianca - could play outside and run through the forest all the time, there was always a neighbor that'd keep an eye on us!

[She sits up in protest!! Doing situps is hard though.]

[Hilda you shouldn't be- oh, she's fine. It's just sitting up.]

It's small and quiet. It's way too far from Nimbasa. [There's no denying that. Even if it wasn't way too quaint for his tastes- which it is- if he needs a steady job, it's gonna be in Gear Station, and he needs easier access to it. Hilda knows that.] Besides, I don't know about you, but I'd feel bad just accepting a house from your mom and making her move somewhere else.

She said she wanted to! Especially since buying a house is so expensive. And living all together might work with your family, but I'd rather not! I don't want to have a baby while living with my parents.

Too many hooligans! Lots of people that'd either teach them bad things or get them in trouble for stealing or drugs or people that'd just up and take them.

I don't want to live in the center of a huge city like Nimbasa. I just want to be closer to it.

I'll get a job with Juniper, like Bianca! Or something... I like Nuvema town.

[...He pauses for a moment, considering it, before pulling out his map and a pen. (Shut up he carries around a map too okay, just because he has maps in his Pokégear doesn't mean that-)

He starts crossing out locations. The first two to go are Nimbasa and Nuvema. White Forest is the third.]

Driftveil's a port city. Mistralton's got the airport and is far from Nuvema Town.

[He crosses out those two, then pauses before crossing out the entire top of the map- especially Anville town. In fact, he makes sure he crosses it out about four times even though it was never an option in the first place. Worst best train town.]

Virbank's too polluted, busy, and sketchy. [And everything behind it is too far away from both Nuvema and Nimbasa, so that's all out.] Castelia speaks for itself. Accumula is still too far away from anything urban.

[So Nacrene or Striaton. Hilda looks at the map for a while, tapping her chin thoughtfully.]

...Not Striaton. The dream yard is the only place to play, and there's so much scrap metal I don't want them getting too cut up. That, and the wild Munna don't need to be getting them all messed up on Dream Smoke.

...I... guess Nacrene is okay. If you can find an affordable place.

Can't walk too far, and Terrorbolt has to be super gentle. I'm all... delicate.

[Bleuch, she just got comfortable, it took her like an hour to finally settle. But she's also super bored, so she slowly rolls off the couch and shuffles over to him.

It's a moderately sized house in the middle of the woods. It's dusty, the windows are cracked, some of the wood needs to be replaced, and the paint is faded, but it's definitely a house.]

...Huh. There's no infestation or something? Why was it abandoned?

No clue. I do know that I found a lot of shacks and little houses with my big sis in Johto and Kanto, but this one takes the cake.

It shouldn't be too hard to clean up. Getting electricity set up shouldn't be too tough if the house doesn't already have it, and I'm not sure about heat, but there are heaters that you can plug into electric sockets anyway.

[And contrary to when he was a little kid, he has the money for these things. It's definitely cheaper than trying to find a house like this.]

Plumbing and electricity come first. That, and making sure there's not a bunch of rattata or bugs making it dirty.

[Hilda is pretty instant gratification, and not much of a dreamer, so she doesn't see the potential dream home as much as the dirty shack.]

Well, at least you'll be breaking your back for the next few months, too...

[Hilda would love to do work but she doesn't know if there's any mushrooms and spores or mold or whatever else might be bad for a baby.]

I can handle it. [This isn't half as bad as what Hilda's going through. At least it's... Yeah no let's not talk about this too much.
