It is, but I try to keep a normal sleep schedule. Besides, I share a room with Barett and make sure he can reach his inhaler in the middle of the night.
It's a little device that Barett uses when he can't breathe. It doesn't always work, but for the most part it keeps his lungs from aching or itching so that he won't cough and make it worse.
I dunno who Wally is, but it's kind of like a respirator, just handheld and smaller. And I think inhalers actually have medicine and respirators don't...? Or they have oxygen or something like that.
But yeah. Barett's supposed to be getting some kind of surgery since he and I saved up for it, but it's really risky. We're not telling dad about it yet, since we don't know if we're even going to do it.
If you've never been to one, how can you say you don't trust them? The doctors are working really hard for Barett, and they really do work really hard to make people healthy... dad trusts Nurse Joys so easily but he really doesn't even like taking us.
But you trust people to take care of your Pokémon, and not yourself...? And besides, even if doctors can't fix everything, they can fix as much as they can and make things less painful. They're not perfect, but... that's what they decided to do. They decided to pick a job where they see the saddest and most horrible things all the time, just so that they can try their best to help.

And it's close to home! So if anything goes awry, dad can help. Not like I couldn't handle it myself, though.

But they've got frequent traffic, right? What about somewhere empty?

I'm from the past. Maybe things are different now. I'd still never go anywhere near one.
Pokémon are different from people. You can always trust a Pokémon, but you can't always trust a person.
