[Elesa didn't have a sense of urgency in telling Silver (or Ingo for that matter) the fact that she tested positive for pregnancy again. Her daughter was a healthy, happy seven year old getting ready for her first journey in the next few years, and all-in-all, things were mild and comfortable. They lived in a house in White Forest, as per Elesa's demands, so there was little strain on making preparations.
So, when Silver is scheduled to visit her is when she'll break the news. She has the house tidied up in the meantime, her mild-manned daughter helping with cleaning up the place.]
[And of course, Silver comes to visit her right on cue- if not, a little bit earlier. He'll... He'll tell Elesa first. Then Emmet, then Ingo. Yeah. One at a time.
He's an adult, he can handle it. He doesn't hesitate to unlock and poke his head through the door.]
Anyone home? [Elesa should be, but he should alert the house to his presence anyway.]
It can be scary, I understand. Later, you should talk to Ingo about it, when it's just you two and no other distractions. As long as Hilda knows that you're there for her, she'll get comfortable with it. Nine months is a long time to get over that fear, after all.
[Oh, sweetie. Elesa starts running her hands through Silver's bangs, brushing them out of his face, and smiles warmly.]
It feels like I'm too young to be a grandmother! But you're at a good age to be a father, so I know you'll do perfectly fine.
[Yeah. He knows this. It's not scary because no one's gonna be alone.
But that's still a lot of sudden responsibility, and he still needs time to digest it. They'll be responsible for another life. Is he really ready for that?]
...I hope dad will be as calm as you are about it. [...Ingo. Emmet he's not too worried about.]
