In the meantime, Silver checks out the computers... This one's password locked.

It takes Silver two tries to bust into it.]

You make almost all of your passwords Slowpoketail or something to do with Zubat or Rattata.

[It's common sense. He doesn't have any kind of USB port or CD, so he takes out his old Pokégear to serve as one instead. Let's just go ahead and take anything that looks important off of this computer...]

I see... [Well, usually the Grunts made those passwords. And Petrel. Maybe that explains a lot.

He'll tear out some hardware from other computers in the meantime. Not all of them need to be checked, just the ones with the most information.] These should be the last ones.

[Man, this is a gold mine. He could send this to Blue and she'd do wonders with it.

...Or he could have, were he not part of Team Rocket now. There was a hint of satisfaction on his face, but it quickly fades. It's not long before he's finished with the computer and looks up at Archer for further instruction.]

[It's not a raid without stuffing everything into a bag when they're done!

...] Is something wrong? [You face expression has altered five degrees what is on your mind]

He shakes his head and takes the opportunity to stare at Archer for a moment. As stupid as he is, he's pretty sharp, isn't he?...]]

Alright. [Well, if he says so, but just so Silver knows he can talk to him about anything! Archer throws the bag over his shoulder and plucks Houndoom's pokeball off his belt.] That's everything we'll see. Shall we go outside?

[feistytrader]

Right. [Yes sir. He gives the place a quick couple of glances before heading up the stairs and out the building.]

[Archer keeps the doors open behind them; no point in locking the place up now. He calls out Houndoom and takes several steps away.]

You'll want to stand back. [Chances of raining parts of building on fire is likely. He knows - he's done this before.] I hope you enjoy the show.

[Oh boy, there's nothing quite as exciting as destruction.

Silver takes a couple of careful steps back and upon further consideration, he lets Kingdra out, just in case. Go ahead, Archer.]

[Now it's time for his favorite part! He points towards the building.] Houndoom, burn it. The usual way.

[Houndoom puffs out smoke in acknowledgement and leaps towards the front, spitting out a blast of fire. Don't mind Archer, he's just going to stand here and watch for a minute.]

[It doesn't take long for the building to go up in flames, and it doesn't catch anything nearby on fire. It's well contained. Good.]

[Let's just say Houndoom has had lots of practice in this. Archer faces Silver with a satisfied sigh.] Shall we? The smoke will get attention sooner or later.

[feistytrader]

Shouldn't we wait until it completely goes out? [Isn't it dangerous to just leave it like this?...]

Why? [But if Silver wants it put it then IT SHALL BE DONE-]

[feistytrader]

It might spread. [No sense in senseless destruction, r...ight...] I could put it out with Kingdra before it draws too much attention.

[And that's a problem because???] ...If you like. You have the authority to do so.

...If Team Rocket was more careful about what it did, it wouldn't have as bad of a public reputation. It could get away with more.

[He waits until the building really collapses, then asks Kingdra to use Rain Dance and soak the place down.]

That's the kind of Team Rocket I want to build. Something more stable, subtle, and sustainable. Something that won't nearly destroy the world or be met with so much opposition. [Maybe if Team Rocket was just a little less evil, things would be okay...]

Archer brushes back some raindrops on his hair. So that's what they're going for now. It's not his style but, er, the old ways did nearly destroy the world huh.

He calls back Houndoom into his pokeball.] You can make that happen. I'll make sure it does.

...Of course you can. [Hello you're the heir???] There's no reason you can't.

...Right. [That's right. He's... He really is the heir. Born to lead to Team Rocket, whether he wants to or not.

But that also means that he can make it into whatever he wants it to be... Within reason. Within his father's limits.

...Maybe that isn't so bad.]
