[...It's so much more reassuring when Emmet says it. He cares about Ingo. Ingo's his family. His... His dad. But the two of them are awkward about it and he always worries about what is and isn't "okay" and it creates some dancing around the topic.

Emmet, on the other hand... He's so straightforward. It's easier to push away his doubts. And he cares about Emmet too. Emmet... Emmet's also his dad. He can't pick one or the other. They both care about him. Love him. And as vulnerable and uncomfortable as it feels, he feels the same.

It's a strange family, but... But it's theirs. And he can't be worrying, fussing, and feeling guilty over what might happen. No matter what, matters will be settled back at home. He's sure of that part, at least. So while he's here, he... He needs to enjoy time with this part of his family.
