Eventually Giovanni leaves to go elsewhere; Silver follows him immediately. The two of them have some father son... bond...ing... and have a nice chat about the whole Team Rocket thing.

Silver gets a couple of days to recover from being nearly killed by Arceus and blinded and muted by Petrel before he's put into a temporary grunt uniform and sent off on his first mission- it's an important one right off the bat. He has to accompany Archer to some old bases that might not be secure, clean them out of anything useful, and get rid of everything else- no traces left.

That's easy enough. That's not even too bad, right? It's... It's not hurting Pokémon.

He periodically adjusts his hat and waits for Archer to show up and lead him to their bases in silence.]

[And he shows up not a second later! It's been ages since Archer's done field work like this, but it used to be his specialty. Usually he got Proton to do the, well, cleanup, but a data and paperwork sweep is best suited for Archer.

It's nighttime and they'll have to do some sneaking around, so Archer's in black clothing today. He can't afford to mess up in other stupid ways, like wearing bright white clothing in the middle of the night.]

[An outfit change? Makes sense, given the time of day... Silver bows his head in respect and greeting. He's still not adjusted to the idea of having any real power of his own.]

[Silver's accompanied by Weavile today; his partner is a little uncomfortable with their situation, but he's ready for action nonetheless.]

It'll be a bit of a walk. I'd arrange a car or some other method, but we don't have all the resources right now...

Lead the way, then. [He lets out Honchkrow and Weavile immediately situates himself on Silver's shoulder. Let's fly.]

[Flying means it'll only take a few minutes to reach the base. It's a simple building out in the woods, likely an old storage house until Team Rocket took it over. Anyone who tries to break in will only see empty rooms inside.]

This way. [Archer flips through a few key cards he brought along. The door to the basement is hidden behind an old poster for a Pokemon tournament. Foolproof!]

Silver keeps quiet and makes his way down into the basement with caution. If it's so poorly hidden, it's no wonder why they need to make it disappear.]

[What? No one else has discovered it so far! But it is the most vulnerable base to clear out first.]

It takes Silver two tries to bust into it.]

[It's common sense. He doesn't have any kind of USB port or CD, so he takes out his old Pokégear to serve as one instead. Let's just go ahead and take anything that looks important off of this computer...]

He'll tear out some hardware from other computers in the meantime. Not all of them need to be checked, just the ones with the most information.] These should be the last ones.
