[One particular ball of writhing, black hatred ray of sunshine is Ramses, who's basically acting as security. He's at the head of the Gear Station, giving merciless glares to news journalists and telling them to leave and get their precious stories later.]

[...It takes about half a second for that to get a rise out of Silver, but he has the self control to stay composed.

Instead, he walks up to Ramses- but not before shoving a journalist out of the way which gives him some petty sense of satisfaction among the events that took place today. He's not entirely sure what to say just yet, so he'll gauge his reaction to his presence first, unless Hilbert has something to add.]

[Still? they're still there?? Dedicated bunch. Sorry, guys. you gotta go home.

Hilbert ambles into view behind Silver. Yo, Ramses. You look exactly like you sounded on the X-Transceiver.]

[Ramses glares death at the journalists until they finally concede and leave, at which point Ramses lets out a tired, extremely frustrated sigh.]

The woman that tried to stab Emmet, but ended up stabbing Ingo, was a woman who had been on watch for mental instability. She's got some severe mental problem, to the point of paranoid hallucinations. She tried to quit her medication cold-turkey, or so her story goes.

Emmet broke her jaw, and I'm sure I damaged her neck when I pinned her, but what's most important is that she's getting locked up before she hurts anyone else.

I see. [Hilbert nods, understanding. Mental instability, was it... well, it was out of nowhere. But that makes it hard to protect against other attacks.] Bummer that they lasted until this late.

[Ramses opens the doors for them, ushering them in quickly enough.]

No one's given them any details, so they were persistent.

They're pretty stubborn... [They're just trying to do their jobs like the rest of us, though. It just happens to be a nosy one.

Without the reporters in the way, however, they can finally get let in, thank goodness. Well-- it's certainly quieter in here.... yep. Tense.

Guess they're heading to the offices.]

[Sure are! There's bound to be a couple Depot Agents here, at least.]

Hey. The word is that Boss Ingo's going to make it, but the Battle Subway's closed.

Unless we can somehow magically come up with some way to cover for both of them, there's now way the Battle Subway is running.

[Subbing for one of them is one thing, but like hell if either of his dads are going to worry about the Battle Subway for a second.]

[Isadore looks up from putting his jacket over a sleeping Jackie when they enter, looking immediately less worn out with the announcement.]

[Cloud's worry is less obviously assuaged, but he slows down his furious paperwork, at least.]

Makes sense. Wouldn't want anything going on that might distract them.

Boss' berserk button is pretty scary!

[Even Ramses needs to make a joke to keep things lighthearted, some.]

We'll be running the station in the meantime. Cloud, I know how much you love paperwork, but you're going to be the one on top of that. Isadore, I'm going to need your help running the schedule. We'll have to put our faith in Jackie to drive his trains on his own.
