BECAUSE WE GIVE NEGATIVE SHITS AND LOVE SUBWAYS
IT'S PRETTY SELF EXPLANATORY MAN
SILVER'S EXISTENCE CREATES INTERESTING PROBLEMS
SUBWAY DEPOT AGENTS ARE ALL PRECIOUS BABBIES
HILDA IS CRAZY
EMMET IS SAD
INGO IS DATING ELESA?!?!?!
AND SOMEHOW WE WILL ALL WORK IT OUT LIKE A COMPLETELY DYSFUNCTIONAL SUBWAY FAMILY
BECAUSE WE CAN
AND ENTER HILBERT

...But even if he's not awake, he's gonna be okay, right? [Right? ...Right?]

[SO TIRED... not only from being awake and in such a state of panic for so long, but also just having given up quite a bit of blood for Ingo's sake. It wasn't necessary but ah hah, Emmet did insist. If he didn't do something he'd have gone crazy.]
Did Ramses call, Hilbert?

[Oooh gosh so tired, but come here, Hilbert, you should be part of the group hug too.]
I'm closing the Battle Subway for a couple months while Ingo recovers. I'm sorry. Ah... we might not have thanksgiving. Or, Ingo will be in bed for it, really...
no subject
That makes sense, of course. [The subway part.] Wouldn't want you to be busy when you should be with Ingo. [Again... why are you apologizing, Emmet? Hilbert can always find other things to do. Don't worry about it.
He's not a part of the thanksgiving thing, though, so he'll leave that to Silver and/or Elesa to reassure Emmet on.]

The Depot Agents know what they're doing. I'll help out with anything you need me to, and I'm sure Elesa and Hilbert can too. We'll find some way to work out Thanksgiving- if we can't do it on Thanksgiving day, we can always reschedule.
1/2
[Elesa maaaay be sneaky about bringing dinner after her work, so that Emmet won't be worried about cooking too much.]

[Whooooosh, over Emmet's head...
Elesa... winks at Hilbert? Buh?]
no subject
Yeah, whatever you need us for. [Company included.
........BUT WHY DID SHE WINK]
no subject
That's a face Blue would make when she's talking about...
...But Hilbert and Emmet?
Silver glances over at Elesa, more than willing to invest in a distraction.]
no subject
You should join us for Thanksgiving, Hilbert.
[Wait Elesa shouldn't you not be the one to invite--oh
Emmet seems to like that idea, lighting up a little bit at it. "If you'd have us, Hilbert..."]
no subject
Well-- I mean, sure. I'd have to ask my parents and all, but yeah. If you guys are okay with it.
[He'd... He'd like to. Yes.]

I'm going to go back and wait for Ingo to wake up... can you guys go see what's going on at Gear Station?
no subject
Yeah, whatever you want. [He can do that. Unless it's just for Silver and/or Elesa.]

no subject
Thanks. I'll call you when Ingo wakes up, so you can talk to him.
no subject
[And with that, c'mon Hilbert, let's go.]

C'mere, Braviary. Go ahead and rest back in your Pokeball.]

But he's content to walk in silence, at least for a little while. Moving definitely helps.]

Hilbert has his hands in his pockets, thinking to himself as he stares off into space. Hm. Should they hurry? It's four AM, but if Emmet's gonna wait by Ingo's pillow till he wakes up, they've got a while...
Come to think of it, he hasn't seen the subway at dark that much.]
Have you been around Gear Station for the night shift much?
[Kind of an outta nowhere question, but whatever.]
no subject
Pretty sure I've never been around for it. I'm there when Ingo and Emmet are.
no subject
It's pretty different than in the daytime. Less busy.
[...] Though I guess it'll still be different from usual night hours, when we get there.

(it is, perhaps, not exactly chaotic, at four in the morning; but it will certainly be a stressed atmosphere...)]
