[He has brief trouble opening the DVD case, but AH HAH he got it. He'll pop it in, and go into the kitchen to make popcorn while the trailers play and HAH he's back, bowl of popcorn in hand.]

[Oh boy, here they go... you're gonna sit next to him, right Emmet? And he'll hold the popcorn bowl, since he has two hands.]

[Yep! Right next to each other, since, whoops. It's a tiny couch, and Emmet and Ingo never bothered with personal space when it came to each other. So Emmet is reaaaaally close, during this exciting thrill ride of an action flic!]

[Hilbert would probably give more thought to the couch is he wasn't so drawn in by the movie. Sure, Emmet's right there, but-- Wow, Brycen!! He never thought he'd see so much emotion from that guy. This is so intense!

Excuse him if he accidentally reaches for popcorn at the same time as you, Emmet. Oops, that's a hand. His bad.]

[Ah--whoops! Nope, that's okay. He'll just take his popcorn and munch on it, sorry about the hand touch!

But... boy. Sitting here with Hilbert was really relaxing, Emmet realized. He was sitting here, and he felt... happy. In a way that he felt only with Ingo, before, and with Hilbert... it was still a little different.

Eventually, Emmet sort of realizes... yeah...

He leans his cheek on the top of Hilbert's head. Hopefully that's not too weird.]

[Aah. That's-- oh, it's just Emmet.

Elesa, now he's really confused and at the same time enlightened. So she meant this. Maybe? How did she even know? And Silver was always going on about how Emmet liked him... ... ... Okay. So that's one thing solved. Solved? Cleared up? Huh. Solved the ambiguity, maybe... but this could still be merely an Emmet gesture of platonic affection. Emmet's kind of like that, maybe.

And... he hasn't even stopped to sort out his own feelings.... well... that's harder. Though he should figure it out soon, since his reaction to this...head-leaning thing might mean stuff. Does he like Emmet? Elesa seemed to think so. He has no idea with Silver... but-- he should ask himself.

What do feelings feel like? This kind of thing hasn't happened before... but he feels pretty comfortable. Maybe a little embarrassed-- he's been that a lot, recently. That's... pretty normal, isn't it? For liking someone.

...Maybe he can give it a try.

Okay, Emmet. Headleaning accepted. Hilbert will settle into it, unfazed.]

[Good! Because Emmet's staying that way, and if you want, you can even rest your head on his shoulder in turn. It's only fair.

Emmet lets out a content sigh, a sign of calm that's rather unusual for high-energy-Emmet. Hilbert is a calming presence... Ingo, for all his cool-headedness, was actually rather high energy in his own way. Though his brother channeled that energy into his quiet passion for trains and for battling, as well as his fussing. Hilbert? Hilbert was what calm really felt like. And it was wonderful.

Even if Hilbert didn't hold such feelings for him, the acceptance here was all Emmet needed. That calm response to him eases Emmet's worries and elicits a feeling of contentment. You're so gentle, Hilbert... and it's what Emmet needs.]

[Eventually, he will-- more out of a search for a more comfortable position than conscious thought, but the subtle move to Emmet's shoulder is there nonetheless. That's okay... right? It must be, with the tranquilly uncharacteristic-of-Emmet sigh. So it's a good thing, then, to... cuddle? Like this.

Welp, his face was fairly free of color before, but he can no longer help the slight dusting on his cheeks. He's... embarrassed, sure, but it's... a little more happy than just that. Still calm, but... well. New experiences.

Gotta be careful of the popcorn bowl. Well-- if they finish, he can just... put it aside...]

[Yep! They finish the bowl eventually, and Emmet disrupts the comfort a bit to move his hand around the back of the couch, instead of pinned against his side. Aaah... comfortable. Emmet lets out a little laugh.]

That's okay, right?

[Oh, okay. So now he's kind of tucked into the space between Emmet's arm and his body....]

Still, this is a really sweet movie! Hilbert is still amazed to see Brycen like this. So cool. Nice movie pick, Emmet.]

[It really is incredibly awesome. Ramses showed him this movie and babbled about something involving patriotism and country morale or some shit but who needs analysis like that, it's an action flic.]

It's hard to say if I think Brycen makes a better villain or hero! He acts both roles really well. Have you seen one of the movies where he's a bad guy?
