[He's not surprised by how fast both of them make them fall apart, but he's a little surprised to see how fast Silver is moving. He doesn't even know why they're here still, and the fact that they're sneaking through a building beating people up is a little suspicious.
He follows him out to the hall, his voice quieter, trying to whisper just in case of more people near by.]
There's a signal coming from somewhere in this building that's causing those Gyarados to rampage. If I don't shut it down, they'll destroy everything in sight.
[Silver checks his Pokégear briefly, then looks back up at the generators.]
That's gotta be it. [...] Don't approach it. Those Electrode can blow up.
[Unless he's got some idea about how to handle this from a distance. If he let all of his Pokémon out- no. That's way too risky. Rhyperior has to handle it...]
[That is about all the warning Ludger gets before Silver sends Rhyperior's Pokéball to the other side of the room and plants his feet.
Which is important, because the entire building shakes violently when Rhyperior lands. Panels fall from the ceiling. Items get knocked over. The room gets dark as the power goes out.]
[Yeah, he's instantly covering his head, as soon as Ludger mentions it. He's not taking any chances on some piece of ruble winging him and knocking him out.
The emergency lights turn on, revealing a pretty destroyed looking machine- a big split in the ground has it sunken into the raw earth, and all of the Electrode are knocked out.
Well, except for one. But it looks like all of them are knocked out, and Silver over confidently steps towards and examines the still very unsafe looking wreckage to make sure the signal from before is inactive. Looks like everything's okay...]
[The first explosion isn't that bad- Rhyperior tanks the hit from Electrode and guards both Ludger and Silver.
The second explosion from the very unstable generator sends crackling electricity and debris everywhere- Rhyperior can keep the two of them from getting killed, but not from everything.]
[Some time passes. The lake calms down. Silver recalls Rhyperior and Gyarados (good job Gyarados, you did well) and tries to check on the rest of his Pokémon only to find that whatever weird electric stuff happened managed to short out his Pokéballs' release function.
Great.
Silver lifts up Ludger and starts the slow walk back to Mahogany. By the time Ludger finally wakes up, the town is close enough to see despite all the trees.]
[Silver keeps leading the way, but... Team Rocket. He never explained them, did he?]
They're an organization that exploits Pokémon for power and profit. It's not the first time they've messed with the Magikarp and Gyarados in that lake.

What are we even doing here?

[Easy enough, at least.]
Do you know where the signal is coming from?
1/2
no subject
...But maybe the huge generator being powered by Electrode has something to do with it.
You know, the one right ahead.
For an evil organization, you'd think they'd bother to hide their stuff better.
Well, the base was well hidden, so...]

He's not good with bombs.]

The last electrode sneaks up on the distracted trainer and his Pokémon and starts to glow...]
no subject
[Yeah, that isn't gonna happen. Time for Ludger to sprint over to Silver.
What's even the plan Ludger?
... Tackle and cover? Okay.]

Great.

... Until he realizes that Silver is carrying him. Uh. Yeah, he'll push at his back. He's awake, you can put him down now.]
Where... ?
no subject
You passed out. We're heading to town. [You know. That thing pretty close now.]
Are you okay?
no subject
... Yeah, I'm fine.
[He still feels bad about being carried all this way, though.]
Sorry.
no subject
[...Maybe he's still not feeling okay.]
I should be apologizing to you.
no subject
[He doesn't think it's something he needs to apologize for, anyway.]
no subject
[That's a fact. He needs to get that out in the air first.]
...But thanks. [Now come on, let's head into town already.]
no subject
[He doesn't mind, but yeah. Let's just keep heading to that town. So he can sleep in an actual bed instead of on Silver's back.]
