[Oh good, he can move. Back in the ball for Honchkrow, and Weavile comes back out.
Silver looks at his Pokégear a few times in the midst of vent crawling until he's decided he's more or less in the right spot. there's no vent opening where he's stopped, however- but Weavile solves that problem quickly by quietly cutting through the metal with his claws.]
Get ready. [Or don't. Weavile can handle it and is the first one to jump down, but Silver's right behind him.
Luckily, the room isn't too full of people- just a few scientists and some guys in black uniforms with a bright red R worn proudly on their chests. They all reach for their belts at the sign of intruders and the grunts take the time to yell out the obvious- "You're not supposed to be in here!" and "How'd you find us?"]
[Ludger is quick, there's no denying that. Almost as quickly as they drop down, and they start reaching for their belts, he moves in quickly.
Although, he doesn't use his weapons for attacking. He pulls them out to go on the defense if he has to, but for the most part, he sticks to hand to hand combat, knocking some of the grunts down quickly with sweeps and throws.]
[One grunt down, two down- and the poor sap that actually managed to get out her Raticate gets her Pokémon cut down and slammed into her by Weavile's Night Slash immediately.
It doesn't take too long for everyone in the room to get knocked out, and the second the immediate danger's passed, Silver starts searching the room for- well. Something.
And he doesn't seem to find it, so out into the hallway it is. He peeks the door open just a crack to check for anyone patrolling the hallway before slipping out.]
[He's not surprised by how fast both of them make them fall apart, but he's a little surprised to see how fast Silver is moving. He doesn't even know why they're here still, and the fact that they're sneaking through a building beating people up is a little suspicious.
He follows him out to the hall, his voice quieter, trying to whisper just in case of more people near by.]
There's a signal coming from somewhere in this building that's causing those Gyarados to rampage. If I don't shut it down, they'll destroy everything in sight.
[Silver checks his Pokégear briefly, then looks back up at the generators.]
That's gotta be it. [...] Don't approach it. Those Electrode can blow up.
[Unless he's got some idea about how to handle this from a distance. If he let all of his Pokémon out- no. That's way too risky. Rhyperior has to handle it...]
[That is about all the warning Ludger gets before Silver sends Rhyperior's Pokéball to the other side of the room and plants his feet.
Which is important, because the entire building shakes violently when Rhyperior lands. Panels fall from the ceiling. Items get knocked over. The room gets dark as the power goes out.]
[Yeah, he's instantly covering his head, as soon as Ludger mentions it. He's not taking any chances on some piece of ruble winging him and knocking him out.
The emergency lights turn on, revealing a pretty destroyed looking machine- a big split in the ground has it sunken into the raw earth, and all of the Electrode are knocked out.
Well, except for one. But it looks like all of them are knocked out, and Silver over confidently steps towards and examines the still very unsafe looking wreckage to make sure the signal from before is inactive. Looks like everything's okay...]
[The first explosion isn't that bad- Rhyperior tanks the hit from Electrode and guards both Ludger and Silver.
The second explosion from the very unstable generator sends crackling electricity and debris everywhere- Rhyperior can keep the two of them from getting killed, but not from everything.]
[Some time passes. The lake calms down. Silver recalls Rhyperior and Gyarados (good job Gyarados, you did well) and tries to check on the rest of his Pokémon only to find that whatever weird electric stuff happened managed to short out his Pokéballs' release function.
Great.
Silver lifts up Ludger and starts the slow walk back to Mahogany. By the time Ludger finally wakes up, the town is close enough to see despite all the trees.]

What are we even doing here?

[Easy enough, at least.]
Do you know where the signal is coming from?
1/2

...But maybe the huge generator being powered by Electrode has something to do with it.
You know, the one right ahead.
For an evil organization, you'd think they'd bother to hide their stuff better.
Well, the base was well hidden, so...]

He's not good with bombs.]

The last electrode sneaks up on the distracted trainer and his Pokémon and starts to glow...]
no subject
[Yeah, that isn't gonna happen. Time for Ludger to sprint over to Silver.
What's even the plan Ludger?
... Tackle and cover? Okay.]

Where... ?
no subject
You passed out. We're heading to town. [You know. That thing pretty close now.]
Are you okay?
no subject
... Yeah, I'm fine.
[He still feels bad about being carried all this way, though.]
Sorry.
no subject
[...Maybe he's still not feeling okay.]
I should be apologizing to you.

[He doesn't think it's something he needs to apologize for, anyway.]
