If you want bread that badly, I can get some later. [You know, when they're done here.] I can't guarantee a nice warm bed every night, but I won't let you starve.

[...Silver opens his mouth and starts to say something, but he perks up just before he can get out a word.

Honchkrow emerges from the trees, and Silver holds out his arm so he can land.]

Did you find it? [The bird adjusts his hat and nods, then turns to look at Ludger. Who's this guy? Honchkrow puffs his chest out and tries to make himself look larger than he already is- should he kick this guy's butt? He could send him sailing across the lake-

Alright, buddy. Take it easy.]

[Well, that one's acting like a normal bird, at least...]

He looks pretty big.

Honchkrow are usually this size. [It's not the size that matters, but how hard you can slam it into surfaces.]

Come on. [Over the river and through the woods- hopefully Ludger wasn't expecting an explanation, because explaining Pokémon covered enough explanations for the rest of the week.]

[He wasn't, just...]

Most birds back home are smaller.

...I thought you said you didn't have Pokémon.

[But apparently he has... bird Pokémon and nothing else?]

[mahouchrono]

I don't. We have birds.

[... Just birds...]

[feistytrader]

[...But if you have bird Pokémon, then you still have Pokémon.

Silver gives Ludger a strange look, but doesn't say anything else on the matter.]

[mahouchrono]

[He has no idea why he's even getting that look, but he's probably just saying something dumb.

So he'll keep his mouth shut too, instead just following Silver silently.]

[It doesn't take long to get to their location- it's a small hidden building that looks out of place in the middle of all the trees.

Of course, before either of them can get a good look at their destination, a series of loud roars sound off one after the other. And it's not an unfamiliar sound, either. Remember Gyarados?

They're really at it again, aren't they-]

[mahouchrono]

[Yeah, that can't be good. He recognizes it, and that's why Ludger's attention suddenly snaps to Silver.]

What's going on?

[feistytrader]

[He'll answer Ludger- kind of- but first, he lets Gyarados back out.]

Do your best to calm them down. [Gyarados nods and takes off without making too much of a fuss- they want as little attention on them as possible.

Silver turns to Ludger.]

You can fight with those weapons or yours, right? If you see anyone with a big red R on their chest, try and beat them up before they can let out their Pokémon.

[That's all the orders he's going to get. Silver heads towards the building to try to find a less obvious entrance than just plain storming in- luckily, there's a vent for them to sneak in.]
